Planning Applications
MKS Engineering assists private customers with planning applications for new and existing properties.
This includes consulting with clients about how to transfer their vision of alterations or house design to paper. We assist with the preparation of topographical maps for properties, assistance in completing the necessary documents and more
Setting Out
We can assist by offering advice on the setting out of buildings. This can include the pegging out or marking out of the building design to the land itself so that the assigned construction team will know how to properly construct your build.
Surveys
MKS Engineering assists private customers with advice and consultation on different kinds of property surveying processes.
For boundary surveys, we can determine whether the existing property boundaries in the field are consistent with the property ownership documents. We offer help with: Boundary Disputes, Boundary Reports pre-purchase, and Boundary Setting out.

We also help prepare documents such as a Declaration of identity (required when buying a new property), Land Registry compliant maps and Mapping for Land Transfer/Identification.

For topographical surveys, we discuss the process of accounting for all the different structures within the area, both man-made and artificial.

The topographical map is prepared by us, noting levels and contours existing on your property area that will allow the architect or structural engineer to design your house and determine the best location.
